ABOUT
YOUR GUIDE
My name is Thanasis and I grew up in the spa town of Methana, with the mountains as my natural world from an early age.
Trails, the stories of elders, and constant contact with the wild landscape shaped me deeply. In recent years I worked as a mountain guide in Crete, mainly in the Samaria Gorge, gaining experience in harsh conditions and leading groups through demanding terrain.
Today I return to Methana to rediscover its mountains and share this journey through authentic hiking expeditions. I hold a degree from the Faculty of Philosophy. The mountains of Methana hide stories of fire, stone, and people. Let’s explore them together.
